RENDER falls 13% in 24-hour trading, lowest all week

RENDER falls 13% in 24-hour trading, lowest all week

Render, the native token of decentralized graphics processing unit-based rendering solutions provider, has gone down by 13% in today’s trading. The token has reached its lowest recorded level in this week alone.

According to data from CoinGecko, Render’s token RENDER(RENDER) has gone below 13% in the last 24 hours of trading. Currently, RENDER is trading hands at $5.16 with a market cap of $2.05 billion.

RENDER started the week at a price of $6.80 on Sept. 30 but has since took a dive on Oct. 1, plummeting to $6.09. Since then, Render’s native token has continued its downward spiral until it reached its lowest point at $5.17 on Oct. 3.

The token saw some gains after it was bought by whales and sharks on Sep. 25, giving it a bullish push by more than 33% within a week. This upside coincided with a fresh spike in artificial intelligence-related tokens, such as Bittensor(TAO) that saw its price rise.

During the aggressive accumulation, whales and sharks boosted Render’s total supply, adding 3.7% to their holdings.

Since then, the token’s price has yet to recover following its dive in October.

In a July price analysis, crypto.news explored the possible rise of RENDER following a 2025 bull run, but that remains to be seen as the demand for artificial-intelligence solution continue to grow.

Render is a decentralized platform for GPU rendering that allows artists to use powerful GPU nodes worldwide for their projects on demand. The company is known for providing solutions in rendering and AI technology.

Render’s native token RENDER, previously labeled with the ticker RNDR, serves as the medium of exchange between users and providers of GPU power.

The Render Network operates under the OTOY technology stack, which uses OctaneRender software. This software is integrated with a wide range of applications including Blender, Adobe After Effects, Houdini, Autodesk Maya, Unreal Engine, and more.

FET price rises as CEX inflows rise ahead of Cudos merger vote

The Artificial Superintelligence Alliance token rose for the third consecutive day, reaching its highest point since June 27.

Artificial Superintelligence Alliance coin (FET) jumped to a high of $1.5768 on Sept. 19, 127% above its lowest point this month. This rally mirrored the performance of most cryptocurrencies, which surged after the Federal Reserve slashed interest rates.

FET also spiked as data from Nansen showed it had over $7.8 million in centralized exchange inflows in the last 24 hours, representing a 127x jump from the previous average. A big increase in exchange inflows often signals that some holders are starting to sell.

Meanwhile, the number of FET tokens held by smart money wallets continued to rise, reaching a year-to-date high of 5.9 million. These smart money wallets increased to 25, up from last month’s low of 21.

Data also revealed that the volume of FET traded across exchanges surged to over $623 million, its highest point since March this year. According to CoinGlass, FET’s futures open interest rose to over $92 million, its highest level since June 9.

The Artificial Superintelligence Alliance token also gained momentum following several significant AI-related news developments. In China, Alibaba unveiled a series of AI tools, including over 100 open-source AI models.

Meanwhile, OpenAI is reportedly raising funds at a $150 billion valuation, solidifying its position as the biggest player in the AI industry. The company also partnered with T-Mobile, a move that the company believes will boost its earnings by over $39 billion in the long term.

The coin also rose ahead of an important vote in which alliance members will determine whether Cudos will become the next part of the alliance. The current three members of the alliance are Fetch, Ocean Protocol, and SingularityNET.

Cudos, the potential new member, bridges the gap between blockchain and cloud computing by providing decentralized storage solutions. Its token was up by 13%, giving it a market cap of over $68 million.

FET, the biggest AI cryptocurrency, does well when there are good news about the industry. Other AI tokens like Bittensor (TAO) and Akash Network (AKT) have also jumped by double digits in the past few days.

SOL, FET, RENDER: Top cryptocurrencies to watch this week

A rebound from the broader cryptocurrency market triggered a $170-billion recovery in valuation, spiking the market cap 8% to $2.26 trillion.

Here are some of the most notable movers to watch this week.

Solana reclaims $160

Last week, Solana (SOL) surged 12%, reclaiming the $160 level and peaking at a two-week high of $162 on Aug. 24 despite setbacks in its ETF product. After closing the week strong, SOL has now pulled back to $157.17.

SOL 1D chart – Aug. 25 | Source: crypto.news

However, Solana remains above the 200-day EMA at $140.12, signaling ongoing bullish momentum. This week, SOL needs to hold above the 200-day EMA to sustain the ongoing upward trend.

Meanwhile, the Chande Kroll Stop indicators place the Stop Long at $145.22 and the Stop Short at $153.18. Maintaining above $153.18 is key for further gains, as a breach could lead to a bearish reversal.

This week, investors should watch for a retest of the $160 and $162 resistance zones or a decline toward key support at $153.18.

FET spikes 50%

Fetch.ai (FET) closed last week as one of the top gainers, spiking 50% and reclaiming the $1 level. On Aug. 24, FET reached a monthly peak of $1.3 but has since retraced to $1.249.

FET currently trades above the 50-day EMA ($1.108), signaling midterm bullish momentum. However, it remains below the 200-day EMA ($1.766), indicating lingering long-term bearish sentiment.

FET’s immediate resistance points this week are at $1.447 and $1.565, with strong support at $1.063 and $0.945, with a pivot level of $1.255. A break above the resistance could target the 200-day EMA, while failing to hold support would lead to a drop below the 50-day EMA.

RENDER breaches upper Bollinger Band

Render (RENDER) saw a 37% rise last week, reclaiming the $6 level for the first time this month.

RENDER 1D chart – Aug. 25 | Source: crypto.news

Currently trading at $6.153, RENDER is comfortably above the Upper Bollinger Band ($5.894), which often signals overbought conditions. This suggests a potential pullback or consolidation might be on the horizon.

However, the strong trend indicated by the ADX at 33.25 supports the idea of sustained upward momentum. The asset maintains a bullish bias with the +DI at 28.35 and -DI at 16.63.

If the current momentum holds this week, Render could aim for higher targets around $6.5 and potentially $7.0.

Nonetheless, a dip below the Upper Band might lead to a retest of the 21-day moving average ($4.875).

Best performing cryptocurrencies right now

The crypto market is down over the last 7 days, with the market cap falling from $2.37 trillion to $2.27 trillion. However, there are individual cryptocurrencies, of course, that are still yielding returns for their investors.

This article highlights the top 10 performing cryptocurrencies over the last 7 days according to Coinmarketcap, as well as some insights into what exactly might be driving price.

Top 10 crypto gainers of the week

Let’s take a look at the best performing crypto coins this week. Our list of biggest crypto winners are taken from the top 300 results on Coinmarketcap, removing some of the projects that may be extremely volatile or subject to especially high risk for crypto traders, although many projects on this should still be viewed as very risky indeed.

1. Popcat (POPCAT)

The top performing coin this week is, unsusprisingly, a cat-based meme coin. POPCAT is hosted on the Solana blockchain and does not have or claim to have any particular utility, focused solely on entertainment value and speculative gains that meme coiners everywhere love to chase.

POPCAT is currently up 72% over the last 7 days after some new exchange listings added extra liquidity to the market.

2. Mog Coin (MOG)

If you haven’t had enough of meme coins boasting cartoon cats as their mascot, you’re in for a treat! Mog Coin (MOG) is another meme coin that comes in ninth on our list. It lives on the Ethereum network, although it can also bridge between Ethereum and Bitcoin thanks to an integration with Multibit. The project site says that users can purchase goods and services with the coin.

MOG is up 59% this week. Crypto users should always be wary of speculative meme coins, but perhaps exceedingly so in this case. In May of this year, crypto.news wrote about how Mog Coin is potentially full of security flaws, which we’ve linked below.

3. Rollbit Coin (RLB)

RLB is the native crypto token for the Rollbit cryptocurrency casino and exchange, offering various discounts and rewards to users of the casino willing to purchase the coin. This week, the coin is up 41%, and the surge in price can be attributed to a recent announcement that the casino would burn RLB tokens.

Token burns, where a project destroys part of the token supply permanently, can often lead to increased prices due to scarcity they create in the circulating supply of the currency.

4. Delysium (AGI)

Delysium describes itself as an “AI-powered virtual society” with a vision to host one billion users, as well as 100 billion virtual users. Bitget’s social data summary of Delysium indicates that a total of 34 users have discussed Delysium in the last 24 hours.

The coin is up 34% in the last week, riding high on the news that the project is releasing Agent-ID, a system for introducing AI agents on the platform.

5. SingularityNET (AGIX)

SingularityNET (AGIX) is up 28% this week on news that AGIX will merge with the FET and OCEAN tokens. All three projects involve AI, a trending niche of today’s financial investment and technology markets.

SingularityNET describes itself as a “decentralized AI marketplace”, with its native AGIX token allowing users to vote on governance decisions.

6. Ocean Protocol (OCEAN)

Ocean Protocol aims to allow users to monetize their data as well as data-based services. This concept of user-monetized data has been a hot topic since the rise of the internet of things (IoT), bolstered by scandals in traditional social media such as data leaks and perceived manipulation of social feeds online.

OCEAN is one of three tokens merging with AGIX, and is now up 30% for the week.

7. Fetch.ai (FET)

Fetch.ai is the third token involved in the aforementioned merger. The project boasts partnerships and collaborations with major companies like Bosch as well as a potential smart city use case in the city of Munich, Germany. You can read more about Fetch.ai here.

The project offers AI services on demand, and its token is now up 30% this week.

8. Non-Playable Coin (NPC)

This humorously-named project is a meme coin with little on-paper utility, opting for entertainment value instead. NPC token plays on the idea of mob mentality and people mindlessly buying crypto tokens without researching them first, and the project motto is “I support the current token” in a play on words of a popular online meme.

The coin is up 29% over the last 7 days, possibly on unsubstantiated rumors of a Binance listing. Readers should note that the project has been seeding various news articles online as part of their marketing efforts, and that there is no evidence of any upcoming listing at this time.

9. WEMIX (WEMIX)

WEMIX is a blockchain gaming platform. The site claims that it is the largest such platform in the world, and that over half a million users are playing blockchain games.

The coin was delisted from Bithumb, Upbit, Coinone, and Korbit in 2022 after the exchanges accused Wemix of supplying them with false information during their listing application. WEMIX is up 28% this week.

10. Wrapped Centrifuge (WCFG)

Wrapped Centrifuge is the Ethereum version of CFG token native to the Centrifuge network. The Centrifuge project offers DeFi and investing services, allowing users to invest in crypto derivatives. CFG is not available on the Ethereum network directly, so users can buy WCFG instead which is intended to represent and remain stable to the price of CFG.

WCFG is up 25% this week, as, of course, is CFG token, with WCFG rising slightly higher.

Assessing the best performing altcoins

When considering the altcoin top gainers of the week, it can be tempting to simply buy into a project that has risen a lot in value recently. Of course, there is no guarantee that price will continue to rise. Many people often have the same idea to chase trading volume, which can result in the expectation of a coin becoming oversold.

Savvy investors tend to thoroughly assess the underlying utility of crypto top gainers as well as the reputation of the team and the project’s track record as well as simply considering the recent price action.

While many traders focus purely on charts and view the market in terms of crypto’s best performers, the market is such that major players can bet against the flow and cause major losses for retail traders trying to follow price trends.

For example, the highest performing crypto on this list is a meme coin with no stated utility. While prices may increase, these projects are extremely volatile and subject to severe price swings, and many in the space view purchasing such coins as gambling rather than trading or investing.

AGIX recorded a quite similar run. The AI token gained 29% in the past 24 hours and is trading at .68 at the reporting time. Its market cap is hovering close to the 0 million mark with a daily trading volume of 6 million.

The third partner of the Superintelligence Alliance (ASI) token, OCEAN, also recorded a 27% surge over the past day and is currently trading at .68. The asset’s market cap is sitting at 0 million at the time of writing. OCEAN’s 24-hour trading volume increased by 180%, reaching million.

In April, the Artificial Superintelligence Alliance announced that FET, AGIX and OCEAN would be merged into a single token. On June 3, SingularityNET shared the following conversion rates of the tokens to ASI:

  • FET will be converted to ASI at a conversion rate of 1:1.
  • AGIX will be converted to ASI at a conversion rate of 1:0.433350.
  • OCEAN will be converted to ASI at a conversion rate of 1:0.433226.

The surge in the AI tokens comes as the Nvidia stock recorded a 3.51% hike on Wednesday — closing the day with a price of 5.58.

It’s important to note that the California-based graphics processor manufacturer is called one of the “three horsemen of AI” by MarketWatch. Notably, Nvidia has been developing an enterprise-level AI platform.
